New Rise In Oil Prices

Baghdad, Oil prices continued to rise in Asia on Friday, the day after the attack on two oil tankers in the Sea of Oman, which led to a jump in crude prices on Thursday.

The price of light sweet crude for July delivery rose 21 cents to $ 52.49 in electronic exchanges in Asia.

Brent North Sea oil, Europe for August delivery, rose 44 cents to $ 61.75.

Prices rose sharply on Thursday after two Gulf oil tankers were targeted, sparking fears of conflict in the oil market’s main region.
