OCCI Organizes Bilateral Meetings between Omani, Thai Businessmen

Muscat, Oman Chamber of Commerce and

Industry (OCCI) today organized a bilateral meeting between Omani

businessmen and a delegation of Thai businessmen, representing

more than 12 companies specialized in manufacturing building

materials and construction.

The meeting comes in cooperation and coordination with the Thai

Trade Center in Dubai and the Thai Ministry of Commerce.

During a visit to the OCCI, the Thai delegation met with officials in

OCCI and Omani businessmen.

The meeting explored means of cooperation between the Omani

businessmen and Thai producers and exporters specialized in

producing a variety of building and construction materials, furniture

products, air conditioners, kitchen supplies, floor decoration, and

multi-purpose equipment.

The trade exchange between the Sultanate and the Kingdom of

Thailand is continuously increasing. The exports in 2018 witnessed an

increase by 16.44% to stand at USD 765 million. Thailand’s exports to

the Sultanate last year rose to 8.79% to stand at USD 563.74 million.
