OCCI to Host Omani Exporter to Singapore and AFTA Meeting Tuesday

Muscat, Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) will host this Tuesday at its headquarters the meeting of the Omani exporters to Singapore and European Free Trade Association (EFTA).

The meeting aims at raising the Omani exporters’ awareness of the cooperation agreements with EFTA and the Sultanate agreement with Singapore. It will also highlight how can Omani exporters benefit from such agreements.

The meeting will include two working papers the first of which by the Directorate General of Customs at the Royal Oman Police (ROP) on the measures followed to benefit from this agreement.

The second working paper will be presented by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry as it will introduce the articles of the agreements and its aspects, such as goods and service trade, e-commerce, completion, intellectual property, governmental purchases and dispute settlement.
