OGWA 2018 Opens Next March

The Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference (OGWA 2018) will kick off on March 26th, 2018 under the auspices of Mohammed bin al- Zubair, Advisor to His Majesty the Sultan for Economic Planning Affairs.

The three-day event is organised by Oman Expo, in cooperation with the Ministry of Oil and Gas and Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre

The exhibition, at which more than 300 public and private organisations from different parts of the world will take part, stretches over 22,000 square meters providing an opportunity to exchange expertise and review the latest technology.

The event targets companies from the GCC, Asia, Europe and Africa, which provide a rich market for the products and services of the Omani oil and gas companies.

The event is the biggest for international oil and gas companies, as well as oil and gas technology and service suppliers. The participants will discuss a range of issues related to this important sector and will share views on the developments and challenges they are facing.

The Conference and Exhibition provides an ideal opportunity to promote oil and gas investment opportunities among local and foreign investors. The Conference will be accompanied by an exhibition organised, in coordination with the SPE under the theme “Enhanced Oil Recovery”.

The event includes a panel discussion on March 25th prior to the opening of the conference under the auspices of the Minister of Oil and Gas. The panel discussion, which will be attended by a number of decision makers, will cover a number of key issues for the sector.
