Muscat, Oman Investment Authority (OIA), in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour, launched an initiative of more than 4,800 job and training opportunities in OIA’s companies.

The initiative will be implemented in three phases in 2021. It includes direct employment, training coupled with employment, and on-the-job training opportunities, in addition to training programs that polish the trainees’ skills and attain experiences to prepare them for the labour market.

The target categories of this initiative are holders of Diploma, Bachelor and Master degrees from different specializations, laid-off employees, holders of General Education Diploma (GED) and below.

The move stems from the keenness of the OIA and its affiliated companies to continue generating job and training opportunities, being among the national priorities in line with Oman Vision 2040 and its objectives.
