Oman Council Takes Part in 3rd Arab Parliament Session

The Council of Oman took part in 3rd session

of the 2nd annual term (2017-2018) of the Arab Parliament, which was

held today at the Arab League’s HQs’ in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.

During the session, the new members of the Arab Parliament took

oath. The session discussed the statement issued by the 3rd

conference of the Arab Parliament and heads of the Arab councils and

parliaments, which was held last “Saturday” to evaluate efforts of the

Parliament within the system of the joint Arab action, besides

discussing the activation of the Arab Parliament’s statute.

The participating delegation in the parliament’s meetings

comprised honorable Musalam bin Ali al-Ma’shani, member of the State

Council, Deputy Chairman of the Arab Parliament, member of the

Foreign Affairs, Policy and National Security Committee in the Arab

Parliament, honorable Khamis bin Said al-Sulaimi, member of the State

Council, member of the Social, Educational, Cultural, Women and

Youth Affairs Committee, Sheikh Rashid bin Ahmed al-Shamsi, member

of Majlis A’Shura, member of the Economic and Financial Committee

and Sheikh Salim bin Ali al- Ka’abi, member of Majlis A’Shura, member

of the Legal, Legislative and Human Rights Committee in the Arab

Parliament.
