Oman Makes Successful Return To Global Markets, Issue Of International Bonds

Muscat, The Ministry of Finance here said that, within the government’s 2020 Plan for Deficit Funding, the Sultanate has made a successful combeback to global markets by issuing (pricing) two tranches of international bonds maturating in 7 and 12 years, to receive $2 billion.
In a statement issued today, the Ministry of Finance reaffirmed that subscription to the bonds witnessed a sound investor turnout, and this is due to a typical market confidence in the government’s procedures and initiatives aimed to achieve financial stability and sustainability.
