Muscat, The Sultanate, represented by the Ministry of Labour, took part in the 7th meeting of GCC Ministers of Labour.

The meeting, held via video-conferencing, was chaired by Dr. Mahad Said Ba’Owain, Minister of Labour.

The meeting discussed a number of items related to labour affairs in the GCC countries, the decisions of the 41st session of GCC Supreme Council at Al Ula city, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) in January 2021 and the decisions of the Labour Ministers’ Committee.

The meeting also touched on a report of the Secretariat General on its vision for the council to enhance the joint GCC action post Covid-19 pandemic
