Oman Takes Part in ITB Berlin 2023

Berlin, The Sultanate of Oman is currently taking part in the International Tourism Exchange, ITB Berlin 2023, which kicked off today in Berlin, Germany.

As many as 40 tourism and hotel establishments are participating in the pavilion of the Sultanate of Oman, displaying the most important tourism components, services and facilities provided by Oman.

The delegation of the Sultanate of Oman in the activities of this fair at Berlin, is headed by Salim Mohammad Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism, who will meet with a number of heads of the largest international tourism delegations, companies and investors in the tourism sector.

The participation of the Sultanate of Oman in this global event stems from the fact that the International Tourism Exchange, ITB Berlin, is the main fair in the tourism sector in the world.

The Sultanate of Oman’s participation also comes in preparation for ITB Berlin 2024, as Oman will be an official partner of that event.

Commenting on this event, the Minister of Heritage and Tourism, stated “The Sultanate of Oman is always keen to participate in this international event, which is one of the largest international exhibitions for promoting tourism”.

He pointed out that the tourism sector in the Sultanate of Oman is witnessing a remarkable growth through the emergence of a large number of tourism and hotel establishments in the industry, which requires an official presence in such a global event to promote the Omani tourism sector.

The Sultanate of Oman’s pavilion in ITB Berlin 2023 covers an area of 378 square meters.
