Muscat, Dr. Saif Nassir Al Maamari, of Sultan Qaboos University (SQU)’s College of Education, has occupied the 29th position (bis) at Arab world level, from among 10,000 authors of literature in educational sciences rated according to Arcif Coefficient 2021.

“It has been a great achievement, not only for me, but for the College and the University,” said Dr. Saif, adding that the rating gives a clear indication about the large volume of educational studies and books published between 2012 and 2019 and monitored by Arab Arcif. “Competition was tough and I am delighted,” he added.

Dr. Saif works as an associate professor in the specialization of curricula and teaching methods. He obtained his PhD from Glasgow University, Scotland, in 2009. He is a regional expert in citizenship-related education and he worked as a visiting professor at Glasgow during the academic year 2019.
