Tehran, Deliberations of the annual meeting of the Omani-Iranian Military Friendship Committee began here today.
The five-day meeting is being chaired by Brigadier Abdulaziz Abdullah Al Manthari, Assistant Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) for Operations and Planning and Second Brigadier Mohammad Ahadi, Iranian Deputy Defence Minister for International Affairs.
The meeting reviews several topics listed on the agenda and serve ties of the military cooperation between the two countries.
It is worth noting that the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) and the Naval Forces of Iran will conduct the annual joint naval drill (Search and Rescue) at the end of the committee’s meetings.
