The 10th session meetings of the Omani-
Jordanian Joint Committee were held in Muscat today. The meetings
come in the light of the existing fraternal relations between the
Sultanate and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and to consolidate
the existing relations of cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting was chaired from the Omani side by Sheikh Dr.
Abdullmalik bin Abdullah al-Hinai, Advisor in the Ministry of Finance,
whilst it was chaired from the Jordanian side by Yousef al-Shamali,
Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply in the
sisterly the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan with participation of senior
officials in the two brotherly countries, representing various government
The joint committee discussed various fields of the existing
cooperation between the two brotherly countries, especially the
economic, trade and investment areas and means of developing them,
as well as reviewing what has been accomplished since the ninth
session of the joint committee, which was held in the Hashemite
Kingdom of Jordan in December, 2015.
