Oman’s Pavilion Opened at Arabian Travel Market in Dubai

Muscat, The Sultanate of Oman’s pavilion at the 29th edition of the Arabian Travel Market was opened at Dubai World Trade Centre today under the auspices of Azzan Qasim Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism for Tourism.

In a space of 200 sqm, Oman Pavilion features various aspects of Omani architectural identity and houses Oman Tourism Centre, a board room, a hospitality corner and compartments for 14 Omani establishments participating under the purview of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, along with a display of Tourism promotional leaflets.

Oman’s participation constitutes a significant relaunch of activities within the quest for recovery from coronavirus pandemic’s impacts, said Al Busaidi, adding that the event is an opportunity to promote Omani tourism products, services and tourist designations at a time the country is bracing for the monsoon (Khareef) season in the Governorate of Dhofar where moderate weather will settle along the Arabian Sea coast and high hill tops.

The 29th edition of Arabian Travel Market focuses on elements of creativity, sustainability and human resources. It also targets emerging tourism markets in different Middle East destinations.

BNC Network forecasts the sealing of contracts worth $4.5 billion in GCC states this year, which, if accomplished, will constitute a 16% overall growth.
