Ghada Hameed Habib, the Ombudswoman, met with Thomas Allan, Joint Head of Iraq and Arabian Peninsula Department at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).

Ghada Habib discussed areas of joint cooperation between Bahrain’s Office of the Ombudsman and UK’s FCDO.

Habib affirmed that the Ombudsman Office had adopted a policy of openness and cooperation with international organizations both Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), in addition to civil society to benefit from their experience, which is in line with its legal reference.

She noted that the cooperation with the FCDO and other related agencies has been positive.
