The Executive Board of Oman Medical Specialty Board (OMSB) held its 2nd meeting for 2023 here today.

The meeting discussed a spectrum of topics, such as policies of selecting Chief Residents, on-call policy for residents and academic activities. It also reviewed new fellowship programmes application for adult infectious diseases and pediatric neurology.

The meeting also highlighted the accreditation report of the neurosurgery and plastic surgery sections at Khoula Hospital and the accreditation report of the Sultan Qaboos Comprehensive Cancer Care and Research Centre.
