Muscat: On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, HH Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, received in his office here today Ali Najafi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Sultanate of Oman to bid him farewell at the end of his tour of duty.
The ambassador expressed his sincere thanks to His Majesty the Sultan for the support extended to him while carrying out his duty in Oman from His Majesty, the Government and the Omani people, which enabled him to perform his assignments, wishing His Majesty good health, happiness and a long life. He also wished the Sultanate of Oman further progress and growth under the wise leadership of His Majesty.
On his turn, HH Sayyid Asa’ad expressed his utmost thanks for the ambassador’s efforts exerted in serving relations between Oman and Iran, wishing him continuous success. He also wished the people of Iran further progress and
prosperity.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary General and the Adviser at HH Sayyid Asa’ad’s Office.
