Riyadh, HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs chaired to the Sultanate of Oman’s delegation at the GCC-ASEAN Summit, which was held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
The summit discussed the joint action plan 2024-2028 and means of enhancing cooperation between the two sides, particularly in the political, economic, security and cultural aspects, in addition to investment, tourism, agriculture, education and training.
It aimed to raise cooperation between the two sides to the strategic level and explore new opportunities.
The summit further explored promoting sustainable development, promising opportunities between the two parties, ways of cooperation and partnership, in addition to trade exchange, investment opportunities, energy security and food security.
