Muscat: A woman was seriously injured as a result of a cooking gas explosion in the Wilayat of Suwaiq, North Al Batinah Governorate.

The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) said in a statement, “The firefighting teams of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in North Al Batinah Governorate responded to an explosion of cooking gas in a house in Al Nabra area in the Wilayat of Suwaiq, which resulted in the injury of a woman. Emergency medical care was provided to her on site, and she was taken to hospital in critical condition.”
