OPA to Participate in Arab Postal Stamps Exhibition

Muscat, —- Members from Oman Philately Association (OPA) will take part in the Arab Postal Stamps Exhibition in Luxor City in the Arab Republic of Egypt during January 9th till 11th.

The exhibition comes within the framework of marking Luxor City as the Capital of the Arab Culture in 2017. It will be organized by the National Post Authority in Egypt under the supervision of the Arab Permanent Postal Commission with participation of a number of postal sectors and commissions from the Arab countries.

The OPA participation stems from its keenness to be present in such exhibitions that are organized by the sisterly countries to enhance fraternal relations among the Arab philatelic societies.

The OPA will take part in the exhibition by several postal stamps prepared by the OPA’s members, such as the special edition stamp of the Arab Postal Day 2012, which the Sultanate’s design won among nine stamp designs for Arab countries.
