Palestine urges urgent Arab League meeting regarding Israeli aggression on Gaza

Palestine called, Sunday, for an urgent Arab League Foreign Ministers meeting to discuss political actions aimed at halting the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

In a statement, Palestine’s Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Ambassador Muhannad Al-Aklouk, said a memorandum was submitted to the General Secretariat of the Arab League, which included a request to hold an urgent ministerial meeting to discuss the Israeli aggression and provide international protection for the Palestinian people, and achieve peace.

The calls for an urgent meeting came following the ongoing Israeli violence against the Palestinian people, including storming Al-Aqsa Mosque by thousands of settlers and Israeli officials over the past days, in addition to the escalation in the Gaza Strip and the aggression aimed at killing and terrorizing civilians and destroying Palestinian infrastructure, he added.
