DOHA, Qatar expressed on Saturday its categorical refusal of the forced displacement of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, calling for the respect of international laws and norms concerning treatment of civilians during armed conflicts.
According to a statement by the Foreign Ministry, Qatar warned against collectively punishing the people of Gaza, stressing that forcing civilians to move from their homes was a clear violation of international law.
It called on the world to take action and open humanitarian passages to enable relief aid organizations to provide necessities, medical supplies, and foods to the people of Gaza.
Qatar reiterated its position pushing for sustainable peace in the region via finding a just solution to the Palestinian cause through the establishment of an Independent Palestinian state within the 1967 borders and east Jerusalem as capital.
