Moscow, Russian announcements concerning a partial troop withdrawal from near the Ukrainian border are a “good sign,” German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said today.

Scholz told a press conference in the Kremlin that he hoped more such steps would follow, following his face-to-face talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
