Role of Bahraini women in national development praised

Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) Director-General Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, held the national efforts led by Her Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and Supreme Council of Women (SCW) President to enhance women’s standing as the cornerstone of development and the driving engine of institutional leadership in the the public and private sectors.

She stressed the importance of achieving gender balance in institutional policies and strategies in line with national aspirations to enhance Bahrain’s standing across all fields.

Dr. Shaikha Rana made the comments as she chaired the meeting of the BIPA equal opportunities committee which discussed the results achieved in 2022.

The panel also reviewed initiatives aimed to achieve the national plan, further reinforce equal opportunities and create a favourable and motivating environment for Bahraini women.

Addressing the session, Dr. Shaikha Rana congratulated the council on the 22nd anniversary of its anniversary, hailing its pivotal role and contributions to enhancing Bahraini women’s status.

She highlighted BIPA’s plans and projects aimed to build Bahraini women’s competences in the public and private sectors and promote a sustainable culture.
