Gen. Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office received here today Sven Koopmans, the European Union’s (EU) Special Representative for the Middle East Peace Process and his accompanying delegation.

Koopmans expressed his appreciation for the Sultanate of Oman’s stance on regional and international issues and its active role in tackling those issues, notably the Middle East’s peace process.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the march of relations between Oman and the EU in different fields and means of enhancing them to serve mutual interests. They also discussed several matters of common concern.
