SAI Partakes in ARABOSAI Meeting on Robust Public Health Systems

Muscat, The State Audit Institution (SAI) participated in the virtual meeting for SAIs Heads and relevant stakeholders addressing the strength and flexibility of public health systems.

The meeting was organized by the INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI) in cooperation with the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI), in the presence of organization members.

Oman’s SAI delegation was chaired by Ahmed Salim Al Rujeibi, Deputy Chairman of Audit on State Administrative Apparatus.

The meeting aimed to find a common understanding on the flexibility of public health services and exchange of experiences and practices to work together, as well as efficiently executing high quality audit tasks related to SDGs.

The meeting reviewed the IDI training program pertaining to auditing the third sub goal of the SDGs which covers four main themes.

The first theme deals with the SDGs audit process and principles, while the second one is related to tools and technologies in auditing SDGs and the roadmap of ecological system and data analysis, as well as stakeholders analysis. The third theme covers the flexible health systems and finally. Meanwhile, the fourth theme identifies the audit scope, audit related questions and audit standards.
