RIYADH, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Al-Safti discussed by phone on Saturday an immediate cessation of military escalation in the Gaza Strip.
During the phone conversation, both foreign ministers also tackled ways of delivering relief aid and medical equipment to the Palestinian territory, the Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a press release.
They also addressed the serious developments of Gaza and consequences of military operations on civilians, calling on the international community to act to prevent forced displacement of Gazans, halt military escalation and find a just, comprehensive and fair solution for the Palestinian cause, it added.
