SCH President inaugurates operations, reanimation rooms expansion project at SMC

President of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, inaugurated today the expansion project of the operations and reanimation rooms at Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC). The opening took place in the presence of Minister of Health Dr. Jalila bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan, Government Hospitals Chairman Shaikh Hesham bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Government Hospitals Chief Executive Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Ansari and senior officials.

Lt. Generak Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa commended the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He also praised all the officials in charge of the project, which reflects keenness of the kingdom and government to develop health services and achieve the goals of the comprehensive development march.

The SCH President took pride in inaugurating the pioneering project which aims to further optimize the health services at SMC.

The Health Minister described the inauguration of the expansion project as an added value to the initiatives aimed at boosting the health sector. She commended the efforts of the medical cadres in various disciplines, particularly the rare ones.

Shaikh Hesham bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa stressed that the momentum of various services and developmental projects aims to serve Bahraini citizens, the pivot and target of development. He pointed out the unflinching keenness of the Government Hospitals Board of Trustees to optimize services provided for citizens and residents.

Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Ansari expressed thanks and appreciation to SCH President and all concerned officials for the project, which was implemented in a record time and mirrors keenness of the government to further upgrade health services and achieve goals.
