SCW Secretary-General praises Bahrain-Brunei relations

The Supreme Council for Women, chaired by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Wife, welcomes cooperation with the Sultanate of Brunei, said SCW Secretary General Hala Al Ansari.

In a statement today , she stressed the importance of joint cooperation which, she said, will contribute to expanding cooperation and reinforce bilateral relations between the two countries.

Al Ansari made the statement after signing a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam on cooperation regarding women’s affairs.

Al-Ansari praised the efforts made by the Sultanate of Brunei to empower women in the context of its national policies that are concerned with developing their human resources.

She indicated that the memorandum will provide a great opportunity for exchanging experiences and best practices and coordinating positions between the two countries.

She also expressed Bahrain’s readiness to provide everything necessary to activate the provisions of the joint memorandum of understanding by making available the qualitative experience gained by the Supreme Council for Women in various women’s issues.

The SCW Secretary General also expressed Bahrain Bahrain’s aspiration to benefit from the success stories reached by the Sultanate of Brunei in this regard.
