Second Omani-German Stroke Conference to Kick-off Sunday

Deliberations of the 2nd Omani-German

Stroke Conference will kick-off next Sunday under the patronage of Dr.

Ahmed bin Mohammed al-Saidi, Minister of Health in the presence of a

number of their Highnesses and undersecretaries at the Grand Hyatt

Hotel Muscat.

The Conference aims at promoting the joint cooperation between the

Sultanate and the Federal Republic of Germany in the field of stroke,

highlighting the latest scientific and medical updates on strokes and

raising the level of healthcare services in the health institutions in the

Sultanate in this regard, sharing experiences and developing medical

skills in the field of strokes. In addition, the Conference will also

address the accreditation issue and its impact on the quality and safety

of stroke services.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Health (MOH) will launch next

Saturday the 1st National Campaign on Stroke at Al-Qurum Natural

Park.

The Campaign will be launched under the patronage of Dr. Ali bin

Talib al-Hinai, MOH Undersecretary for Planning Affairs in the presence

of a number of MOH senior officials.
