Manama, Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, sent a cable of congratulations to Hammouda Youssef Sabbagh, Speaker of the People’s Council of Syria on his country’s Independence Day.
Al Saleh praised the deeply rooted Bahraini-Syrian relations, wishing the speaker abundant health and the people of Syria further progress and prosperity.
He sent a similar cable to Mohammed Ali Ibrahim, Ambassador of Syria to Bahrain.
