Shura Chairman receives Tech youth team

Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Shura Council Chairman, received the ‘Tech team’ headed by its director Zainab Mohammad Al Hajri, who is participating in the Youth Leaders Initiative held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa.

The chairman praised the promising youth initiatives that promote investment in modern technologies and highlighted the importance of the diversity of projects that reflect the spirit of innovation and creativity that contribute to sustainable development and prosperity in Bahrain.

He said that the keenness of young people to participate in national initiatives reflects their high sense of responsibility and awareness of their duties, wishing the team success in achieving its goals.

Al Hajri expressed her appreciation to the chairman for his support and keenness to encourage youth to pursue creativity and innovation.

She briefed the chairman on the team’s project that aims to provide technologies for students from 14 to 18 years old, along with resources and specialists to introduce them to modern technologies. The aim is to provide them with a sense of direction that would help them to decide on their university majors, and in turn cater to future needs in the technology sector.
