Ibri, Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation presided over a ceremony marking the conclusion of the social investment activities and programmes conducted by BP Oman in Al Dhahirah Governorate.

The ceremony was attended by Najeeb Ali Al Rawas, Governor of A’Dhahirah.

The company’s social investment programmes included one codenamed “Youth Echo Centre Programme”, which provides joint innovative workspaces and activities to embrace youth initiatives at the governorate level.

The company also conducted a “Reading Family Programme”, which focused on consolidating the role of mothers in spreading the culture of reading among their children. The programme comprised seminars and book shows and competitions.
