The Southern Governorate Police Directorate, in cooperation and coordination with the Labor Market Regulatory Authority and a number of Ministry of Interior directorates, carried out an inspection campaign on shops selling and buying used spare parts.
A number of workers who violated labour and residency regulations were arrested. legal measures were taken against the violating shops. The violators are to be referred to the Public Prosecution.
The move is part of periodic security and inspection campaigns to combat irregular labour and monitor laws and regulations violators.
