National Assembly Speaker Ahmad Al-Sadoun started Tuesday the Parliament’s special session to look into government work plan for the 17th legislative term (2023-2027).
Speaker Al-Sadoun had called for the session based on Article (72) of the internal regulations of the National Assembly.
Yesterday, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah affirmed the government’s commitment to the provisions of the constitution and the dedication of the principle of cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities.
Earlier, National Assembly Speaker Ahmad Al-Sadoun was handed the government work plan by Deputy PM and State Minister for national assembly affairs and cabinet affairs Essa Al-Kandari.
