Muscat: The State Audit Institution, (SAI) in Oman invites members of public to provide information about financial and administrative abuses or irregularities.

A statement issued online by SAI said: “In the interest of SAI to embody the partnership with society in protecting public money and preserving the nation’s capabilities and achievements, the institution would like to direct everyone’s attention to the fact that it welcomes any information about financial and administrative abuses or irregularities.”

The statement clarified that the information and reports of these abuses and violations can be submitted through the these methods:

1. Through the website www.sai.gov.om.

2. By visiting the headquarters of the institution in Muscat.

3. Visiting any of the SAI branches in the governorates of the Sultanate.

The institution also welcomes inquiries and suggestions through the following modes:

1. Phone call to 80000008.

2. Official Facebook account – StateAuditOman

3. The YouTube, Twitter and Instagram applications (StateAuditOman)

4. The State Audit Oman website www.sai.gov.om.

The State Audit Institution confirmed that these reports and information will be dealt with confidentiality while maintain a high standard of professionalism, in accordance with the stipulations of the State’s Audit Institution Control Law as promulgated by Royal Decree No. 111/2011 and its organizational regulations.
