Muscat, The State Council expressed observations about draft versions of “School Education Law” and “Higher Education Law” in preparation for submitting the same to His Majesty the Sultan, along with the opinions of the State Council and Shura Council.

The deliberations took place during the 4th session of the council’s 4th annual convening of the 7th term. The session was held under the auspices of Sheikh Abdulmalik Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council.

The discussions highlighted the need to regulate the provision of education laws in line with Oman Vision 2040, as well as the aspirations of Omani society for an educational system that keeps pace with the requirements of the modern age.
