Nizwa, The Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences has opened a training course for Omani fresh police recruits who recently joined Royal Oman Police (ROP).

The course is being conducted mainly for holders of the General Education Diploma who passed assessment tests and health check-ups.

The participants will undergo basic training that qualifies them to shoulder the duties and tasks of the ROP. The training includes basic military disciplines, sports, police sciences and law applications. Precautionary measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus (Covid-19) have been undertaken.

The ROP reaffirms its pledge to receive more batches of nationals in accordance with a modern employment strategy to enhance its services for citizens and residents.
