Sultanate to Participate in 3rd Arab Parliament Conference Next Saturday

The State Council and Majlis A’Shura will

take part in deliberations of the 3rd Conference of the Arab Parliament

and the Arab Parliaments Chiefs, scheduled to be held at the Arab

League’s Secretariat General in Cairo next “Saturday”.

The Sultanate’s delegation will be led by Rashid bin Ahmed al-

Shamsi, Deputy Chairman of Majlis A’Shura with the membership of Dr.

Khalid bin Salim al- Sa’eedi, Secretary General of the State Council,

honourable Mussalam bin Ali al- Ma’ashani and honourable Khamis bin

Said al-Sulaimi, members of the State Council, as well as Salim bin Ali

al-Ka’abi, Member of Majlis A’Shura.

The Secretary General of the State Council will take part in the

preparatory committee’s meeting, due to be held during 7th and 8th

February, as a representative of the Sultanate’s delegation in this

committee.

Further, honourable Mussalam bin Ali al- Ma’ashani, member of the

State Council, Deputy Chairman of the Arab Parliament, member of the

Foreign and Political Affairs and National Security Committee in the

Arab Parliament will take part in the 6th meeting of the Arab Parliament

Office, due to be held next “Thursday” as well as taking part in the 3rd

session of the 2nd sitting of the 2nd legislative term of the Arab

Parliament. Honourable Khamis bin Said al-Sulaimi, member of the

State Council, member of the Social, Educational, Cultural, Woman

and Youth Affairs at the Arab Parliament will take part in the 3rd

Conference of the Arab Parliament and the Arab Parliaments Chiefs

due to be held next “Saturday”.
