Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) today formed a supervisory committee for the Omani Financial Manager Programme. The panel is mandated to operate during the period lasting from 2023 to 2026.

Dr. Abdullah Masoud Al Harthi, OCCI board member and Chairman of the Omani Financial Manager Programme’s Supervisory Committee, said that the programme seeks to empower Omani human resources in the public and private sectors.

Al Harthi added that the programme, launched by the OCCI in cooperation with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in India, aims to train Omanis on strategic leadership skills and encourage the largest possible number of Omani citizens to assume leadership positions in their respective establishments.

Al Harthi told Oman News Agency (ONA) that, through this initiative, measures will be undertaken to consolidate the business and investment environment and upgrade accountancy among Omani human resources.
