Muscat: The Supreme Judicial Council today held its first meeting of the year (2024) under the chairmanship of Sayyid Mohammed bin Sultan Al Busaidi, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council.
During the meeting, Al Busaidi said that the sincere efforts made by the Council last year helped upgrade the standards of justice, integrity and stability of judicial principles and rulings.
The Council discussed various issues related to judicial action, developing laws and improving the quality of judicial services. It also looked into decisions related to administrative and functional affairs at the Council.
Al Busaid stressed the need to double efforts to establish an applicable, independent and impartial judiciary system that achieves the highest standards of justice.
