The arrest of two foreigners practicing medicine without official certificates and approvals in Basra and Najaf

Baghdad The National Security Agency arrested two foreigners practicing medicine without official certificates and approvals in the governorates of Basra and Najaf.

The Security Media Cell stated in a statement that “in continuation of the efforts of the National Security Agency to monitor and inspect the work of violating pharmacies and medical clinics, and based on the information received through the hotline (131), the Agency’s detachments in Basra Governorate, after obtaining judicial approvals, were able to arrest an accused who does not hold citizenship. An Iraqi woman practices the profession of dentistry without a scientific certificate and official approvals.

The statement added, “in the same context and in another process, the device’s detachments in Najaf Governorate, after obtaining legal approvals, were able to arrest another suspect who does not hold Iraqi nationality, impersonating a doctor who works without a university degree and approvals from the Ministry of Health.”
