The raids on Al-Aqsa continue – entry into the Old City and Al-Aqsa is prevented

Jerusalem_Together – On Tuesday morning, the occupation authorities imposed a strict siege on the Old City and Al-Aqsa Mosque, on the anniversary of the so-called ‘Independence Day.’

The occupation forces were present in large numbers at the gates of the Old City and Al-Aqsa, and prevented the entry of hundreds of worshipers.

Ma’an’s correspondent reported that hundreds of Palestinian residents were prevented from entering the Old City through its gates, and in the Damascus Gate area, the police asked them to vacate the place after preventing them from entering the Old City to reach Al-Aqsa, and informed them that the ban would continue until two o’clock in the afternoon.

At the gates of Al-Aqsa, the forces imposed strict restrictions on the entry of worshipers, and prevented most of them, except for a small number of elderly people.

The forces also ghosted the young men and searched them.

The settlers’ raids on Al-Aqsa coincided through the Mughariba Gate, and the settlers performed their public and col
lective prayers during the raid.
