The Secretary-General of the Gulf Federation Praises Basra’s Preparations to Host the 25th Gulf Championship

Basra The Secretary-General of the Gulf Federation, Jassem Al-Rumaihi, praised Basra’s preparations to host the 25th Gulf Cup, which will start from January 6 to 19 in 2023.

Al-Rumaihi said in a press conference after the announcement of the draw: The draw was equal among the participating Gulf teams for the success of the tournament, and we hope that its version will be better than the previous tournaments, especially in the organizational and technical aspects.

Today, the draw for the 25th Gulf Cup began at the Grand Hotel in Basra, and the tournament was divided into two groups. Iraq was placed in the first group, which included Yemen, Oman and Saudi Arabia, while the second group included Bahrain, Kuwait, UAE and Qatar.
