Muscat, The Sultanate today participated in the United Nation’s (UN) annual forum on Country Programme Document (CPD).

The forum, organized via videoconferencing by the UNICEF, focused on the theme of “nutrition” this year.

The forum included UNICEF executive board’s endorsement of the National Programme Document “Oman 2022-2025”.

The Sultanate was represented at the forum by Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Saeedi, Minister of Health.

A workshop titled “Changing Face of Malnutrition” discussed ways of tackling the problems of obesity in children who live in a civilized (modern) world where their life is impacted by global developments that occurred in recent years
