Trough of Low Pressure to Affect Oman: CAA

Muscat, The weather analysis in the National Multi Hazard Early Warning Centre at the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)

indicates that a trough of low pressure will affect Sultanate of Oman from Monday 29 November 2021 to Wednesday 1 December 2021.

The weather will be cloudy with chances of rain, occasionally thundershowers, fresh wind, hail, flash floods and wadis over the governorates of Musandam, North Al

Batinah, South Al Batinah, Muscat and South A’Sharqiyah in addition to Al-Hajar Mountains and the adjacent areas.

The sea condition will be moderate along most of the Sultanate of Oman’s coasts with wave height ranging between 2.0 meters.

The CAA advices all to take precaution during rain and wadis and to check the sea state before sailing.
