UAE’S NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM ARRIVES IN BEIRUT TOMORROW TO PLAY AGAINST LEBANON FOR QATAR’S WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS

The Lebanese national football team resumed its intensive training on Friday afternoon in preparation for a football match against the Emirati team next Tuesday at Rafic Hariri Stadium in Sidon, as part of the sixth round of the qualifying games for the Asian 2022 World Cup.

The UAE’s national football team, also dubbed “al-abyad”, will arrive in Beirut on Saturday coming from Seoul after losing a game against its South Korean counterpart in Goyang.

Fabio de Lima will not partake in the anticipated match due to an injury that has kept him away from the South Korea match as well.

Since joining it last year, De Lima has played 15 international matches for the UAE’s national team and has scored 6 goals.

Majed Hassan, Khalfan Mubarak, and Majed Abdel Rahman will also be absent from Tuesday’s match.
