Sohar, The Municipal Council in the Governorate of North Al Batina today discussed the outcomes of the field visit, which was made by the council’s members to Sohar Airport. The visit aimed at stimulating the growth of flights through the airport, which would contribute to the enhancement of investment and economy in the Sultanate of Oman and the governorate particularly. The meeting was held under the chair of Sheikh Saif Hamiar Al Malik Al Shehhi, Governor of North Al-Batina, Head of the Municipal Council, who reviewed several projects and programs aimed at developing the governorate. The meeting also discussed a number of suggestions on health care services, besides other topics relating to development and service aspects.
