Muscat: The official Twitter account of the Muscat International Book Fair in its 27th session has announced the Fair’s visit times for school students and women, during the period 22 February 2023 to 4 March 2023.

HE Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al Harasi, Minister of Information and Chairman of the Main Committee of the Muscat International Book Fair, said in a previous statement: “The next session of the Fair will witness the presentation and launch of a package of expanded cultural programmes that will be distributed throughout the days of the Fair, in addition to the diversity and richness that would satisfy the desire of readers and lovers of knowledge, in different segments of thought, culture, literature and science.”

“This cultural event is an opportunity for people with knowledge, including readers, researchers, academics, and students in various languages, as it includes programs for families and children due to their importance in educational and skills nutrition. The focus will be on future sciences that provide enhanced knowledge content for various educational courses,” the Minister said.

HE the Minister of Information said that the Muscat International Book Fair constitutes a major cultural platform for publishers, distributors and authors from inside and outside the Sultanate of Oman, who choose it to present their new publications. It also includes a series of interactive cultural events and seminars that are held during the Fair period.

It is worth noting that the Muscat International Book Fair, in its 26th session, attracted more than 300,000 visitors. The Muscat International Book Fair occupies an advanced position on the map of international Arab book fairs.
