Maryam Adnan Al Ansari, Assistant Undersecretary of Projects at the Prime Minister’s Office, Chairperson of the Government Land Investment Committee, has affirmed keenness to expand cooperation with the private sector and involve it in advancing various development fields, by creating more promising and qualitative opportunities for investors and real estate developers, as well as providing them with all supportive facilities, in a way that contributes to stimulating vital sectors to continue achieving economic growth to reach the forecast goals.
Al Ansari made the statements following the signing of an agreement between the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development and Delmon Gate real estate development company to build 131 residential units in Salman City with a total area of 23,000 square metres.
Al Ansari stressed the importance of benefiting from the investment opportunities provided by the Government Land Investment Platform as it is the gateway for the private sector to invest in government projects.
She indicated that the agreement signed between the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development and Delmon Gate is within the framework of the ongoing efforts to strengthen the partnership with the private sector, stimulate investments and benefit from government-owned lands to launch housing, commercial, entertainment, educational and health care projects.
She pointed out that the agreement also contributes to increasing the development projects in the Kingdom, commensurate with the principles of the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030, namely competitiveness, sustainability and fairness.
The Assistant Undersecretary of Projects at the Prime Minister’s Office called on those wishing to benefit from the opportunities offered by the Government Land Investment Platform to visit its website (investmentland.gov.bh), choose the properties in which they want to invest, and submit applications through public bidding.
