Cabinet Affairs Ministry Undersecretary His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, the Honorary President of the Good Word Society announced the third edition of the youth leaders initiative, which will kick off in June.

The initiative is organized by the Good Word Society, in cooperation with the Arab Planning Institute (API) in Kuwait, in line with HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali’s support towards youth and their contributions to the Kingdom’s development goals.

It aims at preparing youth leaders who should keep pace with regional and international changes, and contribute to solve development problems through creative approaches by enhancing their role in supporting economic, social and other development efforts in the Kingdom.

The program will develop the young generation’s leadership skills, and enhance their strategic ways of thinking to establish competencies capable of obtaining social, administrative, and leadership responsibilities.

This year’s edition targets 60 participants. The initiative has graduated 160 youth in the first and second editions.

HH Shaikh Isa stressed that the initiative came in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the great support and interest of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister towards youth empowerment and their contributions towards the Kingdom’s development process, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
